Why Use Aloe Vera Skincare Products?

Aloe Vera is called the miracle plant for a very good reason. Today we are going to look at some of the amazing features of the aloe plant and why it is the ideal ingredient in skin care.

Aloe enhances the skin by soothing, hydrating, nourishing and accelerating the regeneration of new skin tissue.

How does it accomplish these things?

The inner gel of the aloe leaf contains the following -
  • 20 minerals - including calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, sodium and zinc.
  • 12 vitamins - A,C,E,B12 and Folic acid work to neutralize the free radicals that are the cause of aging.
  • 18 amino acids - these are the basic building blocks for the production of muscle tissue.
Modern research has also discovered that one of the aloe plant's mysteries is its enhancement of a proteolytic enzyme action in the skin tissue. This helps the skin with the natural process of cell division and sloughing off the dead cell tissue, causing the skin to rejuvenate and rebuild healthy new tissue at an accelerated pace.

The Aloe gel is able to penetrate the protective outer layer of the skin's surface to take the gel's healing  and moisturizing abilities into the layers of the skin. Allowing the benefits of the gel to penetrate the skin, not just create a layer of product on the skin.

What makes L'Bri Aloe different?

Many products available today contain Aloe. What makes our products better?

First, look at the ingredient list and see where the aloe is actually located in the list of ingredients. Ingredients are required to be listed in order of quantity. This means that the ingredients listed first are the main ingredients in the product. I have actually seen products that list aloe on the front of the bottle, but do not have it listed in the ingredient list.

L'Bri uses Aloe as the first ingredient in all of their skin care products. Meaning there is more aloe in their products than any other ingredient.

Next, how is the aloe gel processed?

Did you realize that aloe is sensitive to heat. If the gel is exposed to high temperatures the healing benefits will be lost. Most companies use a heat pasteurization process, this cooks out most of the aloe's natural benefits.

L'Bri uses a cold stabilization process to retain 100% of the plants mysterious and wonderful properties.
Lastly, L'Bri hand-picks and hand-fillets all of the aloe leaves to guarantee that only pure aloe gel is used in their products. Other companies may use a grinding or squeezing process which can result in compounds from the aloe plants membrane tainting the gel.
